I am a native born in the Iowa and Illinois Quad Cities Area (QCA). My residence has been in the QCA area all of my life.
I have given birth three times in my youth and now have nine grandchildren as a continuous reward.
Nearly two decades ago I found my calling when I began working with pregnant women. I have served the community with skills such as pregnancy massage therapy, infant massage instructor, childbirth educator, doula service, and volunteer service with teen parents.
My life's work is to encourage women to recognize how strong they truly are. My intention to serve as a provider of option's for informed birth. An atmosphere of guidance and support for any woman aspiring to birth with non-mainstream approach. My desire is to educate and empower through informed birthing, and support safe options for women during the childbearing year.
I believe there is great power just beneath the surface of all women. In service, I have encountered discovery and growth within each women I have met. Through this nature of growth I have found myself in constant state of amazement and respect for the journey we all take to arrive on this earth.
The childbearing year is a time that will forever transform ones life. I aspire to protect the desires of a birthing woman through trust and belief in her body to bring forth the life of her baby. Her emotional state, physical ability, and spiritual needs are paramount during her journey throughout the childbearing year. I would feel honored to be a part of your birth journey. Assisting you throughout the labor and birth process will provide for you a sense of security and trust for the process of birth. The story of each birth is one we, as women, will author and carry forever. It is my wish your child will embrace your birth story and pass this story throughout generations.
